The Fans of Laguna......

I would like to start off by thanking all those who have commented over the past several weeks. I was delighted to come home to so many comments everyday. I enjoyed reading through all of them and learned that most of us share the same thoughts and feelings after each episode. Many of you have even said you felt a void last night. It was a Monday evening and there was no Laguna!!! Luckily, I was swamped with work so I had something to take my mind off of it.

In case some of you did not know Laguna hottie, Talan Torriero, was recently engaged to Kimberly Stewart after dating for weeks and weeks. Kimberly Stewart is the daughter of famous rocker Rod Stewart. It has also been rumored that Talan wishes to start a music career in the near future. With Rod as his new father-in-law he is sure to have some good connections. After hearing him perform on one episode, I am not sure that is such a great idea!

The holidays are just around the corner and I am sure some of you are out searching for the perfect gift for that special person. Why not give them the Laguna Beach complete first season! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up and get ready for Season 3!!! I know I would not mind getting the Laguna Beach DVD in my stocking!

Many fans are skeptical of accepting a whole new cast in season three. We became so comfortable with the crew we have grown to love. Season two introduced all new character and we learned to love them more than ever. Not to worry Laguna lovers, season three will be sure to knock our socks off!

Laguna Beach: The After Show

It is so hard to say, but season two has come to a close. The cast of Laguna Beach provided us with so much drama over the last few weeks, that some of us may be in denial that it is really over! Who can forget all the drama with Jason, Jessica, and Alex M. Or all the times we thought Stephen and L.C. would finally end up together. Prom, graduation, and a crazy summer were just a few of the exciting events to hit Laguna Beach this season. When visiting MTV's overdrive, fans can view trailers recapping all their favorite episodes. The after show recaps season one's love triangle between Stephen, Lauren, and Kristen. Season two's after show highlights many memories and follows Jason, the heartbreaker and the trail of women he left behind. Looking back he really is the ultimate player!

What's in store for Laguna Lovers?

Well kids not to worry because Laguna Beach will still be in our lives! Season 3 promises us a whole new cast and tons of fun. You can even watch the Laguna Beach Season 3 trailer and get a glimpse of some of the fresh faces of the new cast! Veteran L.C. gives her little sister all the advice she needs to get by in high school when you’re living in Laguna. It does not end there either. L.C. has quite the busy schedule after her dramatic experiences on season 2. Fans will be able to follow L.C. as she continues her life in the city of Los Angeles. "The Hills" which is the name of Lauren's new reality television show, follows L.C. in her new life out of Laguna. The series proves that "life in the city is no day at the beach." L.C attempts to juggle fashion school and a demanding internship. She makes tons of new friends, but always keeps in mind you can't always trust anyone
Based on the popularity of the first two seasons of Laguna, I am sure both of the upcoming Laguna series will be immediate successes.

OnE LaSt WaVe.....

We've all been there. Packing up the rooms we thought we would never leave, saying goodbye to friends who never left our sides, and moving somewhere new and essentially starting a new beginning. The ladies of Laguna are especially emotional this week. Who can blame them? They are such a tight knit group of friends. I know I have said this before but watching this episode again made me feel so old. Here we are months away from starting our careers as professionals and they have four years of college ahead! I am so jealous!

The first goodbye is between Taylor and Alex M. The two are inseperable so it is no surprise when tears well up in their eyes. L.C. and Stephen say goodbye but this is only temporary because the two are both moving to L.A. I really hope Lauren can be happier here than she was in San Fransico. She needs to get out of Laguna for good and get away from the drama. What will happen in L.A. between Stephen and L.C.? My wish is for the two of them to finally be together!

Stephen then moves on to saying goodbye to his other leading lady, Kristen. I really was starting to think Kristen had no feelings until I saw this episode. Instead of being callous, she was so emotional and it showed a side of her no one has ever seen. Stephen and her say goodbye on the beach and it seems a little obvious that the two still really care about each other. It really surprises me how the two of them are able to remain such good friends after once having a serious relationship.

The rest of the episode is filled with more hard goodbyes. To be quite honest, it wasn't the best season finale. What's your opinion? I like how the episode came to a close. Memories of the previous year are shown and Kristen remembers times when her and Stephen were together and happy. Call me sappy but I got tears in my eyes! It was really sad. I think it got me thinking to the days when I was leaving for college. This season of Laguna may have came to a close, but there is always plenty of Laguna gossip!

Sorry, you are not invited......

The end of summer has finally arrived. The whole gang prepares to go off on their separate ways. Of course, someone will be having a party in Laguna. Lauren decides to host an end of summer party at her beautiful house. A catered cocktail party is the theme and everyone is invited. Well, almost everyone. L.C. makes it quite clear that she does not want Jessica or Jason there. Who can blame her? After all she did have to watch her boyfriend kiss his ex-girlfriend. It does not get much worse than that. Take the Laguna beach poll. If you were having a summer farewell party, who would you not invite?

As the episode opens Talan, who I would like to add is the most adorable thing ever, is giving Jason some advice. He tells Jason to try and talk to L.C. I really don't think Alex M. could have put it any better but, " Everyone needs to get over Jason." All guys are good apolgizers and ladies we always need to remember that. Alex H., Kristen, and Jessica are all at home relaxing when Alex and Kristen decide to make a brief appearance at Lauren's party. Kristen is super nervous about going to her former rival's house. Kristen and Alex enter and are so rude! It made me so mad to see how impolite they were being. They did not even acknowledge L.C. The girls felt under dressed at the cocktail party and so they left with Stephen without saying any goodbyes or thank yous. Lauren just can't win with these rude, back-stabbing girls of Laguna. I feel so bad for her. Sorry Kristen fans, but I have fully crossed over to a loyal L.C. fan.

The next day there is Jason calling Jess. Why are you calling her? Did you not learn your lesson the first time? This boy frustrates me so much. Jessica stops by and the two converse briefly. Jason tries to tell Jessica that the kiss was all her fault and that she initiated it. What a liar! We all saw him make the move. Jessica then says Jason should call L.C. and work things out.

Jason calls Lauren and asks if they can talk. L.C. agrees but says he is not allowed in the house because her father will not let him in. If I was a parent Jason would not be stepping foot in my house! Jason apologizes and L.C. lets him know that his little apology would not make things better and is quite clear to him that things are over. I know this decision had to be hard for Lauren but I am glad she is stronger than the other girls. Jason leaves her house and drives away. Is that a tear I spotted? The player might have even cried a few tears over L.C. Oh Jason, when will you learn?

“I SAW YOU KISS HER”

Hello all my lovely Laguna bloggers! So I thought last week’s episode was boring and dull, but this week’s episode definitely made up for it. I was on the edge of my couch and screaming at the television throughout all the drama. So many of you told me you can’t wait to comment on this episode so let’s discuss!

I guess even the rich can take out the time to perform good deeds. The episode opens with the whole gang planning a fundraiser. It’s called “fight the slide” and it benefits mudslide victims. The event is sold out and the group prepares for food, live bands, and a fashion show done by L.C. Jessica, Kristen, Alex H., and Jason are a few of Lauren’s models in the show. They all show up for a rehearsal and Jason is flirting with Jessica. Jessica is sitting and dancing on his lap while L.C. watches over looking pretty disgusted. Jason then approaches L.C. and apologizes to her.

It’s the night of the fundraiser and what a night it will turn out to be. Talan and Alex M. are set to sing. Talan is so adorable, but let’s face it, he can’t sing a note. Alex M. performs next and I really didn’t think she was too much better. The fashion show commences and the whole gang is looking great, however things are about to take a turn for the worst. Jessica and Jason are talking backstage, and as L.C. moves closer the two kiss. How terrible for L.C. to have to see her boyfriend kissing his ex-girlfriend? Jason is officially the worst! I thought I would give him another chance, but he is donzo in my mind. I thought it was quite funny how L.C. was being so mean to Jessica during the fashion show. Jessica deserved it. She should know how it feels after it was done to her by Alex M.

Jason tries to apologize to L.C. but she wants nothing to do with him. Then Dieter enters the picture. He approaches Jason and asks him why he would ever try and hurt Lauren. At this point in the show I was wishing I had a friend like Dieter. He was so helpful throughout the whole situation. Jason is left behind and is sitting sulking. I really do think he cares about Lauren, but he is still stuck on his old ways. I guess sometimes you can’t teach old dogs new tricks.

“The End of the Beginning”

It’s that time of year. Graduation is just around the corner for Laguna Beach seniors. Stephen and Dieter get tickets from Kristen and Jessica to attend their graduation and to take part in all the festivities. Everyone is getting so sad about graduating high school and it was making me feel really old and even more depressed because we are graduating college! They have no idea how much fun they have ahead of them. It actually was making me really bitter and jealous throughout the whole episode!

Okay so enough with me lamenting, now onto the good stuff. L.C. is invited to Jason’s grandpa’s house. It is absolutely gorgeous like all the houses in Laguna Beach. What kind of guy wouldn’t bring a girl there? It is quite impressive. The two resort to their favorite spot, the hot tub. Doesn’t it seem like they are always in a hot tub? Anyway, they share some intimate kisses and whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears. Now I think they are adorable and I think he actually cares about her. My roommate on the other hand hates them together and feels they have absolutely nothing to talk about. So I figured why not ask my bloggers and I can report the results on my blog. So here’s the question:

Do you think L.C. and Jason make a good couple? Yes? No?
Will they last?

Its graduation day and all the girls are getting sentimental and nervous. We go from house to house as all the girls receive gifts from diamond rings and tiffany jewelry to frying pans and trips to Spain. All the girls complain about how big their gowns are and I know most of us can relate. I thought I looked like I was swimming in my gown and I could not wait to take it off. As we watch Laguna Beach High School graduation, I got really sad and thought of mine. I am sure all of you did as well. Their hats are thrown and it is the end of one chapter in their lives.

As the episode comes to a close, Alex H. meets Kristen and Jessica on the beach to drop the bomb. She tells the two that Lauren and Jason are dating! Jessica remarks that Lauren will not be able to change Jason’s sly ways. Do you think she can? We then hear Jason say to himself, I love Lauren. I never thought such words would ever come out of his mouth. Does he mean it? Stay tuned!

“Boyfriends Are Like Purses”

Summer has sprung and the teens of Laguna Beach could not be more excited. All the college kids return to their home town for an action-packed time. L.C. decides to have a barbeque as part of a summer kickoff. Steaks, burgers, and tons of food are purchased as this group knows how to go all out during any occasion. L.C.’s house is absolutely gorgeous. Sitting high up on a hill, her backyard boasts a pool overlooking a cliff. Tons of guests are invited, including most of the senior class. Taylor, Talan, Stephen, and Jason are just a few of the attendees. The hot tub gets rather steamy as L.C. and Jason engage in heavy conversation. The two joyfully play fight around the pool as onlookers watch. Stephen in particular, is caught staring intensely on more then one occasion. Well you know Stephen, you should have snatched her up when you had the chance.

Meanwhile Kristen’s car won’t start when she is about to hit the town with the girls. The next day her dad presents her with a white BMW X5. It is so nice and I am very jealous. I guess that’s what you get if you live in Laguna. Oh and you can even enter to win Kristen's old car. Yea it may not start or work, but it is serious Laguna Beach fan material.

During the show L.C. and her friends compare boys to handbags or purses. At first I did not see how the two could possibly be compared but then after hearing their reasoning it makes logical sense. Gorgeous bags are assholes. There are some purses you like but don’t want to be seen with, and there are those you wear everyday because you are comfortable with them. While the girls are having this clever discussion, L.C.’s phone rings and it is Jason. He asks her to dinner that evening and she willingly accepts.

Jason pulls up in an antique hot rod and the two go to a cute outdoor restaurant. Smiling and giggling the whole time, the two seem to really be enjoying each others company. I know Jason is a player but it seems like he actually cares and is really trying with L.C. The two then retreat back to L.C.‘s Jacuzzi where they share some laughs and some kisses. They are two people that I would never put together but sometimes those are the relationships that last. What does Stephen think about all this? Will L.C. and Jason start dating? Till we blog again!!!!

“Prom is in the Air”

I would like to start off by apologizing to all my lovely bloggers. As is the case with most college students, I have been swamped with exams and work. Don’t worry though because I always make time to tune into Laguna! So onto Monday’s episode……

I love the way prom invites occur in Laguna Beach. I don’t know about anyone else but my dates just picked up the phone or quietly asked me by my locker. Of course everything has to be extra extravagant with these teens. Jessica and Alex H. are startled by two “gorillas” holding bananas which read “Prom?” Across town Alex M. is prom dress shopping when she runs into sophomore Cami. Cami approaches Alex and asks her if it would be okay if she went to the prom with Jason. Alex replies that it would be fine, but is this really the case?

Moving onto the next invite, Kristen is pulling up to her driveway when she notices a bouquet of flowers. As she opens the garage door, there is Talan standing with red roses in the middle of an extravagant display. Kristen immediately replies yes! How adorable are those two?

The pre-prom party is held at a gorgeous location. I know my pre-parties did not look like that. As good-looking girls and boys fill the room, we can’t help but notice Casey’s bright yellow dress. Jessica and Kristen snicker saying she looks like a hooker. Well, she kind of did. One thing that really bothered me is how rude Kristen was being to Talan. She was not paying any attention to him and they were not together at all. Why is she always playing all these games? They won’t work for her forever.

Perhaps the most startling occurrence in the episode was Alex M. and Jason making out hard core. Poor Cami! Jason is the worst and so is Alex for hooking up with him again. Attention Girls: Stay away from Jason! Well with only 2 weeks left of high school and the whole summer ahead, who knows what is in store. Till next time….

“Don’t hate the game”

I couldn’t wait to post today after last night’s episode. I thought it was so good and there were tons to discuss. The episode starts off with Kristen and Alex H. planning a fiesta. Of course, there is drama on who can attend and not attend. Morgan is allowed to come, while Taylor must stay home. Apparently, there is some major beef between Kristen and Taylor.

Then we go to L.C.’s house. She is packing for her trip to L.A. She immediately calls Stephen and informs him of her travels. After their conversation they both seem to be glowing. Oh and by the way, what was up with L.C.’s friend? Her face was so orange! It looked like she had a little accident with the self tanner.

Back to the fiesta, Jessica, Jason, and the whole gang arrive, including new hottie Jeff. Now by this point Alex and Kristen have had one too many drinks and it is quite apparent. Out of no where Kristen and Jeff start kissing in the middle of the party. Why is this a terrible thing? Jessica, Kristen’s best friend, has a major crush on Jeff. Poor Jessica, she just can’t win! What really shocked me is how Alex M. expresses sorrow for Jessica. Are they all the sudden friends again? I just don’t understand these girls. I guess that’s what makes it Laguna Beach.

Towards the end of the episode L.C. and Stephen meet up. I just like to say that L.C. looked so pretty. I really love her and she is so sweet. The two go to a “friendly” dinner where Stephen asks if they would ever be in a real relationship. L.C. played it cool, but we all know how happy she must have been inside. They leave dinner and take a romantic stroll. I want them so badly to just try and date. I think they would make such a great couple. Kristen is over Stephen and Laguna fans everywhere need to accept this fact.

Well that just about sums up the last episode. Next week the prom invites begin. Now that should be exciting!

Last time on Laguna….

The drama continues as the group travels to Cabo! Beautiful weather, sandy beaches, and night long parties are an annual ritual for the teens of Laguna. They all pack up and set sail for the week of their lives. Will this vacation be drama free? Absolutely not! The episode opens with an intimate conversation between Alex M. and Jason. He proclaims the two are better off as friends by providing lame one word answers to end their relationship. I cannot believe how rude he is! If I was Alex or Jessica I would definitely get over him real fast. To make matters worse, the two get in a major cat fight later in the show! Alex M. angrily approaches Jessica in a night club. Furious Alex M. holds in her anger and desire to fight Jessica. Alex M. thinks it was wrong for Jessica to kiss Jason behind her back and she has no problem expressing her opinion of Jessica. Sighing under her breathe Jessica insincerely apologizes to Alex. The one thing I definitely do not understand is wasn’t Jessica with Jason in the first place? What right does Alex have to get so mad when she was wrong from the beginning? Share your thoughts on last week’s episode and remember what happens in Cabo, stays in Cabo.

What’s everyone saying?

From reading all of your comments, I have come to the conclusion that no one can stand Jason! He is viewed as an ultimate player and not as our favorite new hottie. As for L.C. and Kristen it looks like Kristen is everyone’s favorite. Viewers admire her free spirit and carefree attitude. It looks like her and Stephen gets a little cozy on next week’s episode. Can’t wait for that! Finally another major concern of Laguna fans is whether or not the show is scripted. In my opinion I definitely think there is some form of script work going on. The characters and their life situations are real, however writers may have the events reenacted or tweaked a little bit. Scripted or not I am obsessed. Monday is only one day away so get excited!

LeArN aLL AbOuT laGuNa!!!!!!

Welcome back!!! I am sure Laguna fans everywhere tuned in to watch Monday's fabulous episode. As always the cast delivered jaw dropping drama that left us wishing it was Monday all over again. We will get into that later, but first as further introduction I would like to introduce a few of the cast members and tell you all a little bit about each of them. So without further ado.......

The Original Cast....

Stephen: Now a freshman in college, Stephen's heart is still in Laguna. He remains the apple of L.C.'s eye but we all know he is so in love with Kristen.

L.C. : Beautiful Lauren left for college at the end of last season, however she then decides to move back home even if that means giving up Stephen. As the second season unfolded, Laguna fans everywhere wandered if her and Stephen could be more than just friends.

Kristen: The girl who rules the school and never misses a party is the narrator this season. We are introduced to her senior group of friends and all the fun they have together. Watch for Kristen and her crush on Talan as this season continues.

Lo: Laguna's own mini fashionista, this blonde haired, blue-eyed teen is L.C's best friend. Though she went off to school, Lo will still be around Laguna.

Talan: Talan kept a low profile last season, but now he is Laguna's mystery man. This new hottie even catches Kristen's eye.

New This Season...

Jessica: Kristen's best friend Jessica, gets herself mixed up with the wrong guys. Will she ever get over bad boy Jason?

Alex M: Another member of a popular senior clique, Alex loves being the center of attention. She also loves a boy named Jason, but will this cause drama with Jessica?

Jason: Who's Laguna's newest hottie? His name is Jason and he is the ultimate player. Fans will immediately see the games this heartbreaker plays, especially with Jessica and Alex.

Taylor: Sweet and innocent, everyone loves Taylor. Well everyone except Kristen.Will this lead to some crazy cat fights? We shall see.....
