OnE LaSt WaVe.....

We've all been there. Packing up the rooms we thought we would never leave, saying goodbye to friends who never left our sides, and moving somewhere new and essentially starting a new beginning. The ladies of Laguna are especially emotional this week. Who can blame them? They are such a tight knit group of friends. I know I have said this before but watching this episode again made me feel so old. Here we are months away from starting our careers as professionals and they have four years of college ahead! I am so jealous!

The first goodbye is between Taylor and Alex M. The two are inseperable so it is no surprise when tears well up in their eyes. L.C. and Stephen say goodbye but this is only temporary because the two are both moving to L.A. I really hope Lauren can be happier here than she was in San Fransico. She needs to get out of Laguna for good and get away from the drama. What will happen in L.A. between Stephen and L.C.? My wish is for the two of them to finally be together!

Stephen then moves on to saying goodbye to his other leading lady, Kristen. I really was starting to think Kristen had no feelings until I saw this episode. Instead of being callous, she was so emotional and it showed a side of her no one has ever seen. Stephen and her say goodbye on the beach and it seems a little obvious that the two still really care about each other. It really surprises me how the two of them are able to remain such good friends after once having a serious relationship.

The rest of the episode is filled with more hard goodbyes. To be quite honest, it wasn't the best season finale. What's your opinion? I like how the episode came to a close. Memories of the previous year are shown and Kristen remembers times when her and Stephen were together and happy. Call me sappy but I got tears in my eyes! It was really sad. I think it got me thinking to the days when I was leaving for college. This season of Laguna may have came to a close, but there is always plenty of Laguna gossip!

Monday night’s episode was definitely an emotional one! We have all been there before; packing up, crying and saying goodbye to the friends we have known since we were little. I thought it was really sweet how sad Alex M. was when she was saying goodbye to Taylor. She is very nervous she is going to lose her best friend! I agree with you about Lauren and how moving to LA will hopefully take her out of the Laguna beach drama. But as much as I love her and Stephen together, I hope she moves on and finds some boys that will treat her well. Stephen and Kristen’s goodbye was quiet the shocker! We finally did see the emotional side of Kristen we were all waiting for. She is probably scared to be a small fish in a big pond. I got teary eyed too because we can easily relate to the ending of senior year!

What a great ending to a great show. Ok I don't really think it's great but it is extremely entertaining. The girls were so emotional and finally we get to see that Kristen really can be sensitive and caring. I don't remember if I cried that much when I was leaving for college. I was definitely sad but I knew I would be seeing my best friends all the time because I live 40 minutes away and we're really good about visiting each other. I think I cried because I was so nervous to go to college. Anyway I thought this would be the last season of Laguna but of course MTV is too smart to let a popular thing end. The third season looks like it has even more drama and I'm sure I'll be watching it along with LC's reality show. I just can't get enough!

I agree that it was an emotional, but great, season finale. I've never seen Kristin so emotional, but it's nice to know that she is a real person. It didn't really seem like anyone was going away to college though, everyone was crying and saying good bye but where did they go?? I also didn't understand why LC and Steven were saying goodbye, arent they both moving to LA? Granted, LA is a big city but I would think the two of them would still hang out all the time. What do you think of the next season, after watching the previews? I think its a good connection that LC's little sister is in it but other than that we don't really know any of the cast. I don't think it will be nearly as good as the past 2 seasons but I'll probably still watch it haha. I also can't wait for The Hills - that looks like its going to be great and I'm a big fan of LC!

It's really funny because although I thoroughly despise Kristen, she really does remind me of myself as a senior in high school. I couldn't wait until graduation day. I wanted to leave my home town my whole life and college was my way out. All of my senior year I was "too cool for school" as Stephen put it. It wasn't until I was leaving that I realized how much I was going to miss home and the friends that had stuck by my side. This last episode made me really feel for Kristen despite my opinion of her as a person.

BTW...I cannot wait to watch L.C.'s new show, The Hills! She has always been my favorite on the show, besides Lo that first season, and I am glad that MTV is focusing on her again!

I definitely agree with the comment about the final episode, like I said in my last post. There was so much anticipation for it, and it was kind of a dissappointment...other than the fact that LC is going to have a show of her own. It was weird because half of the cast didnt even have to say goodbye to one another because they are going to LA and will most likely see one another all of the time. It never even really said what they were doing with their lives either.
As for the next season, I am not sure if I am going to watch it. It just seems like the girls are getting a little bit too young for me and they are dragging this whole idea out now. Who knows though, I might get suckered in!

You will not believe the article that I was forwarded from It says that Talan is ENGAGED!!! And the woman he is supposedly engaged to is Rod Stewart's daughter, Kimberly. Talan is only nineteen years old and Kimberly is twenty-six. Here is the link to the article:,19736,1131527,00.html. Check out that rock on his fiancee's finger! It's a 5-carat diamond ring. I can't believe cute, little, immature Talan is engaged to a 26 year old woman after dating for only 2 months. No offense Talan, but there is no way this is going to last! Who's next? Kristen and the hunk from the O.C.?

Hi Alexis Wood I am on a quest looking for information on romantic gift for a man. I ran across your blog doing a search and thought I would stop by to see if you had any information. Hey, it is nice to see that other people like the same things I do. Anyway thanks for the read.

Laguna's final episode was so sad. It reminded me of how sad I will be when I graduate from college. Four years go so fast when you're having fun. I love Stephen and think he truly does care for both LC and Kristin. i am curious to see what will come of him and LC when they move to LA. I hope they wind up together in the end. They are such good friends and I think would make an awesome couple. Now for Kirsten, i just read that she already has a movie deal costarring Al Pacino. She's not wasting any time. Also , Talan is engaged to none other than Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewarts daughter. CRaziness, these kids so much younger yet are successful already. I guess Tv will do that to ya.

I was so excited for the season finale, and then it was over before it really even started. I mean it went so quick, it lasted only 20 minutes and I wanted much more. I can’t wait for next season. This episode was a very emotional one though; I mean was the end of a huge chapter in their lives, yet the beginning of another. It is always so hard to say goodbye, especially to a best friends. Of course as girls we usually take it a lot harder, I mean even Kristen was an emotional wreck. Then you see the guys to try to play it off but even they showed some emotion. Laguna seems like such a beautiful place to live, I’m sure it is hard to leave that life; however, I’m sure they all have great things in store for them. Can’t wait to see what happens.

I agree that this episode wasn't a great season finale. Or for that matter, series finale! The O.C. will be back for season 3, but it is seriously not the same show with the brand new cast. I don't know if I will be able to get into it. And plus, we will practically be college graduates when it airs, and I don't know if I can see myself still glued to the tv watching juniors in high school (we'll see though!" My friend actually started crying during the finale too, and it kind of touched me too but not to that extent. I wish we could travel with the cast and see how college treats them... Talan's off to a good start though - it's been confirmed that he is engaged to Kimberly Stewart!

I personally am not a laguna beach fan, but i do have a girlfriend so I know everything about it without actually having seen an episode. I could probally also tell you all about the latest sweet sixteen. But i have question. What the hell is wrong with all you girls. I finally watched an episode of laguna beach, and it was stupid. Yeah all the girls are hot, but id dump every single one of those chicks. This show resembles nothing in real life. They dont talk about sex at all, the guys dont talk about bagin on of the girls and that is all we do in real life. So i ask, whats so great about the show, i guarentee no one in this school had any type of high school memories like that.

I didn't like the final episode at all! I felt like it I needed more closure. I don't like that I don't know how anyone ends up or how everyone truly feels about leaving. I mean, yes we see them cry and hug, but they don't ever express their emotions very well.

The episode did make me feel old. I remember being sad leaving for college and wondering where everyone was going to end up, and yet here we find outselves again wondering where we'll all be this time next year.

Stephen and Kristen's goodbye was the most heart felt in my opinion. I honestly think they still have feelings for each other. I don't think their friendship is strong, it appears more of an awkward relationship they're forcing. I hope Stephen doesn't end up back with L.C. in SanFran. I think everyone needs to step back and get away from all things Laguna.

The season finale definitely brought back memories of packing up and leaving for college myself. It seems like yesterday I was saying goodbye to my friends and imagining what college was going to be like. It’s still surreal to me that we are entering the “real world” so soon! This episode was definitely emotions central. I really hope LC and Stephen are finally together in LA. They really are perfect for each other and he just needs to realize what a great girl she is! I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the flashback ending. I would have liked it if they showed flashbacks from the whole season not just all about Kristen. It’s going to be a long year without Laguna .. thank heavens MTV plays reruns every other hour!

Ah - I understand completely what they are going through. I remember graduating like it was yesterday - saying goodbye to everyone and packing up was so hard! It was nice to see that the girls actually all got along towards the end so at least they can leave Laguna with some good ties. It is so wierd to think that they are so much younger than us, I always forget that they are still in high school because the way they act seems so much older. I think that Taylor and Alex M.'s goodbye was alot more upsetting than Kristen's goodbye's because there has been times where I have doubted Kristen's friendships but Taylor has always been sincere to her friends.
I can't believe that LC and Stephen are still going to be in the same town - it does seem like they are following each other. I also hope that LC will be happier in San Francisco and find her own niche. I'm with you in hoping that they finally will be together - maybe Stephen will finally open his eyes.

The goodbye between Kristen and Stephen surprised me because it seemed like they were really going to miss each other as they seperate. Maybe this will give them both time to appreicate each other a little bit more though!

I don't really like the whole emotional good bye seens.
I didn't like how Kristen was so upset about leaving all her friends and moving to L.A. She knows that she is close enough to see them in the future, so she has nothing to flip out about. She's upset that things won't be the same, but she should know thats how life goes. How boring would life be if everything were always going to remain the same.

If I were direct this show, I would greatly decrease the amount of depressing, crying scenes that there are. These scenes, although important, should not be dragged out for half of the episode. Rather, there should be more scenes of the group actually having fun and partying. They should be going out with a big bang rather than a dripping tear.

This was by far the lamest season finale of all time. If I wanted to watch re-runs and people hugging, I would have. There was absolutely no substance and I didn't even feel bad that they were leaving one another. The only time I actual felt emotion in this episode was when I thought of how hard it was to pack up and say goodbye to all my best friends.

However, it seems like everyone on this show is going to LA! I can't wait to find out what is going to go down there while they are all in college. Hopefully, L.C. will find a new guy out there that is worth her time and energy.

Kristin actually seemed genuinely upset to say goodbye to Jessica, even though she is always ripping on her. Taylor on the other hand, seemed completely unaffected when she said her goodbyes to Alex M. Oh well, I guess it's time to look forward to next season!
