“The End of the Beginning”

It’s that time of year. Graduation is just around the corner for Laguna Beach seniors. Stephen and Dieter get tickets from Kristen and Jessica to attend their graduation and to take part in all the festivities. Everyone is getting so sad about graduating high school and it was making me feel really old and even more depressed because we are graduating college! They have no idea how much fun they have ahead of them. It actually was making me really bitter and jealous throughout the whole episode!

Okay so enough with me lamenting, now onto the good stuff. L.C. is invited to Jason’s grandpa’s house. It is absolutely gorgeous like all the houses in Laguna Beach. What kind of guy wouldn’t bring a girl there? It is quite impressive. The two resort to their favorite spot, the hot tub. Doesn’t it seem like they are always in a hot tub? Anyway, they share some intimate kisses and whisper sweet nothings into each other’s ears. Now I think they are adorable and I think he actually cares about her. My roommate on the other hand hates them together and feels they have absolutely nothing to talk about. So I figured why not ask my bloggers and I can report the results on my blog. So here’s the question:

Do you think L.C. and Jason make a good couple? Yes? No?
Will they last?

Its graduation day and all the girls are getting sentimental and nervous. We go from house to house as all the girls receive gifts from diamond rings and tiffany jewelry to frying pans and trips to Spain. All the girls complain about how big their gowns are and I know most of us can relate. I thought I looked like I was swimming in my gown and I could not wait to take it off. As we watch Laguna Beach High School graduation, I got really sad and thought of mine. I am sure all of you did as well. Their hats are thrown and it is the end of one chapter in their lives.

As the episode comes to a close, Alex H. meets Kristen and Jessica on the beach to drop the bomb. She tells the two that Lauren and Jason are dating! Jessica remarks that Lauren will not be able to change Jason’s sly ways. Do you think she can? We then hear Jason say to himself, I love Lauren. I never thought such words would ever come out of his mouth. Does he mean it? Stay tuned!

Last night’s episode made me feel old too and I am so jealous they have four amazing years ahead as well. So on to the good stuff like the L.C. and Jason gossip…I really wouldn’t have ever put the two together but I do think they are cute and that he seems to really like her. It is hard to say how the chemistry between them really is since the producers of the show cut so much tape as it is. I think the way they piece it together really makes it seem like they may not have much in common, but who knows in reality if they do or not. I agree with Jessica’s comment in the show that L.C. won’t be able to change Jason’s ways and next weeks episode looks like their strange relationship may already be over. I guess we’ll have to wait another week to find out!

I saw the end of Laguna on a rerun today and it was sad! It made me miss high school and all my friends from there. Also it made me a littel bitter too knowing that I'm graduating college. The funs almost over and we're about to have to enter the real world with real responsibilites. I don't think any of us really want to do that! As far as Jason and L.C. I think it would be cute if L.C. could change him but based on the next week's teasers I'm not sure if that's going to happen. He's already got other girls sitting on his lap. I just hope L.C. will stick up for herself in this relationship even if she does forgive him for that. She needs to take control from the beginning and not let Jason mess with her head like she let Stephen do forever! I do think they're cute together though because they're both gorgeous, there's really no getting around that. And as much as L.C. seems to sort of just giggle sometimes she seems like one of the more genuine, non-bitchy girls in Laguna!

I was very upset to see them all graduate this episode. It kept making me think of my high-school graduation and how much I miss it. In addition, I agree with you that we are getting old. They are just graduating high-school and we are soon to be graduating college.

Also, I think L.C. and Jason make the best couple and I think they both really like each other. When Jason brought L.C. to his grandpa's house I was in shock. I saw the house and my mouth dropped. You must have to have lots of money to live in Laguna. In addition, I really like L.C. and Jason together, but for some reason I do not think that they will last very long. I think they are adorable together, but I think that they are two different people. L.C. is very quiet and just wants a guy all to herself, where Jason is a ladies man and tends to go for any and every girl. But you never know. Maybe L.C. is it.

Well thank god I caught the repeat episode last night! Monday night I was stuck in the library all night studying. I completely agree with you on the sentimental factor. I was almost jealous that they were just graduating high school; they definitely do not realize what amazing stuff lies ahead of them. L.C. and Jason just get cuter every time I see them together. I think Jason finally really likes and cares about someone. And I agree with you that they surely do love the hot tub! I do think they make a good couple, but will they last? Who knows, they never really do have anything to talk about. Now about graduation, each girl got a better present than the next. And yes graduation cap and gowns do not look go anyone – not even Kristen. But can I add in here that Alex M. looked extremely bad – what is going on with her these days. Graduation was very nice and like most typical ones. No one has faith in Jason and Laurens relationship, I can not wait until next week to what happens between them – looks like there could be a fight!

I was also sad and jealous that the Laguna gang is graduating. Technically they're all finishing up their first semester of college right now and they have so many fun and exciting times ahead. I'm starting to feel really old! Anyway Jason and LC are so cute together. The beginning stage of a relationship is always the best because you want to spend every minute with your new love and those two cannot get enough of each other. I also thought that Jason's grandparents place was absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately, I do not think that the two sweethearts will last because let's face it, Jason is a player and he loves the ladies. It looks like he starts flirting again with Jess in next week's episode. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

There's no way L.C. and Jason will last! Jason is and always will be a player although this time, L.C. won't take his crap like the other girls did. She will stick up for herself and show Jason was a jerk he is. And those words "I love Lauren"... He's been on like 2 dates with her. He is just in lust and when another girl comes along, he will forget he even said that to Lauren. I am really excited about next week's episode because it looks like L.C. tells Jessica off for flirting with "her man" Jason in front of everyone. Stike two Jessica!

Thank you so much for the recap of Monday's episode. I have been swamped with work this week and I haven't really gotten a chance to turn on the television for too long. Anyway, to respond to your question, I think L.C. and Jason make a horrible couple. They don't have anything to talk about and I feel like every time they are together it is so awkward. I am guessing they last another week or two.

I wonder if Laguna Beach will come up with another season after this years cast heads off to college. It has been so popular; I can't imagine them just letting it die with this graduating class.

Yeah I definitely feel old after reading your blog. It's so sad. In high school we were all so scared about closing that chapter of our lives, and moving on to college. We feared never speaking to our high school friends again. Well I think most of us learned that any friend we had in high school that was A REAL FRIEND, we still talk to. Those friends that we don't keep in touch with just were'nt close enough to us. This just reminds me of graduating this year!! Will we talk to our best friends after we graduate? I'm not sure about any of you but so far two of my closests friends are planning on moving half way across the country =( I guess in life we just have to wait and see. In response to your question about L.C. and Jason, I like them together. I want L.C. to be happy, she's sweet.

I also got sad when I was watching the graduation episode of laguna. It made me think of graduating college, and I don't like to think about that at all! As for LC and Jason, I don't think she's going to be able to change his ways. Every time Jason starts dating a different girl he's always really nice and sweet to them and then he gets bored and becomes a jerk. I thought it was cute that he was taking LC to his grandparents house until I realized they weren't going there to meet his grandparents, just to take advantage of their gorgeous house. At the end of the episode I had a little hope that maybe they would be really cute together but then the previews for next week came on and sure enough there's LC yelling at Jason to stay away and not talk to her. I wonder who Jason hooked up with now... I bet he went back to Jessica.

Graduation definitely brought back memories and made me sad to think about college graduation in May. When they were all talking about how sad they are to be leaving high school I just wanted to be able to tell them not to be sad, but to be excited about the amazing four years they're about to begin.

My opinion on L.C. and Jason...don't like them. I have never been an L.C. or Jason fan so I guess that has something to do with it. They both just seem so fake. The other thing is that they both seem to have rushed into this with Jason seemingly interested in Alex and L.C. seemingly interested in Stephen. They seem to have a good time together, which I guess is all that really counts, but I don't like it.

Graduation is quite the reality check. I mean you live for that day but when it finally approaches you wish you could take a rain check. It suddenly hits you off the sudden that you are growing up and things are going to change. You don’t truly know how much and in which ways things will change till you begin to experience them. The Laguna crew will have endless experiences from here out. They are beginning a new journey which they can’t even begin to imagine. I really enjoyed their graduation service; it seemed like such a great time, I wish mine was as fun. I felt bad that Talan was unable to walk with the class, but I’m sure everything will work out. Congratulations Laguna Class of 2005!

Also, LC and Jason look very cute together right now, everything is going great, which usually means something is going to happen. I hope that it doesn’t negatively effect their relationship, LC seems to be very happy and it is quite the task to keep Jason’s attention and she is surpassing my expectations of what he is capable of. I guess only next week will tell.

It was kind of sad watching them graduate. I wonder what college will be like for them, now that so many people have watched so many of their high school days. I have a feeling they will already have a lot of people who either love them or hate them right off the bat. It must be scary going to college knowing that so many people know so much about your personal life from high school. When we all went to college, as with any other normal "not famous" person, no one knew who we were so we basically started with a clean slate. That is not the case at all with the cast of Laguna.
About L.C. and Jason, I think he may believe he has feelings for her, which is cute, but it may just be another one of his games. He's very tricky and you never really know what he's thinking. Sometimes he seems kind of out of it, and it makes you wonder what drugs he's taken...

They definitely are chilling in the hottub pretty often, I wish everyone that I knew had a hottub that we could just hang out in all of the time! The whole highschool graduation scenes really made me think of my girls from highschool and how special/sad that day was for all of us. I had such an amazing class from school and miss how close we all were back in the day! I really do think that the show does a great job relating to everyone who has gone through that time in their lives and how priceless graduation day truly is!..still not liking Jason and LC...he's not good enough for her!

I too had many reminiscence of high school throughout the episode. It feels like high school graduation was yesterday and it’s still so surreal to me that we’re graduating so soon! The LC and Jason relationship still blows my mind. I’m going to have to vote negative and say they will not last. Jason seems to be able to ruin any type of relationship because he is such a player. I doubt that LC can change that. I too totally caught on that half of LC and Jason’s relationship is spent in the hot tub! Next weeks episode looks great and I can’t wait to see what happens at this big benefit that they’re planning!

I seriously doubt Jason and L.C. will be together very long at all. First of all, he just graduated high school. That is reason alone to break up with her. In a few months he will be going to college where no one knows what a bad-ass player he is. L.C. is still really young too and I feel like she will always have a thing for Steven kinda like Steven will always have a thing for Kristen.

Watching this episode really brought tears to my eyes remembering when I graduated high school and also all the awesome times I have had in college. Those lucky kids have a lot of crazy times to look forward too. What is even weirder is that I am a senior in college obsessing over the lives and times and watching a reality show about high school kids. (They seem a lot older than they are though!!!)

I am not really a fan of LC and Jason. I think she can do much better and basically he is a "player" to put in simply. I don;t think she did her background homework on Jason before she started dating him. If she did she would know that he dated Alex, Jessica and who knows who else in Laguna. He comes off as this cute, nice kid saying all the right stuff but I think its all an act. LC is older yet still not wise to the high school games. I think she should forget about Jason and move on to someone much cuter, maybe stephen...hmmmmm

I don't see any future for Jason and L.C. First of all they already broke up so she probably won't take him back. And it is very obvious that Jason is too much of a player for a relationship with L.C. He enjoys the company of far too many ladies to commit himself to one relationship, even if she is as hot as L.C. Another thing L.C. caught Jason hooking up with his ex-girlfriend Jessica. Not only is this a slap in the face to L.C. on a personal level. But in the long run she can't trust someone that is so easily willing to get with their ex. So for once and for all, they will not remain a couple.

I can't believe they are graduating! I hope they keep following this cast's lives and don't bring in too many new comers next season. I don't think I could stand trying to keep straight more of the same names with different last name initials!

I was in complete shock when L.C. and Jason went to his grandfather's mansion! It may have been the most beautiful house I have ever seen, looking directly over the ocean. I really hope these people know how lucky they are! And of course the couple ended up in a hot tub. What else is new on this show!

I feel bad when Jessica finds out about L.C. because it probably hurts to hear that he has moved on. But I think she was completely right when she says that L.C. will not be able to change his cheating ways.
