I love this show too! But, I have heard so many rumors that Laguna Beach is fake and that the characters are actors. What are your thoughts on this? I know they put that thing at the beginning of the show saying that the people, place, etc are real, but maybe it's all just a cover. Even if it is real, I feel like they sometimes make the characters reenact scenes. Although, I know why the show is so successful. People are watching and asking themselves, are there really people out there that act like this? Anyway, I just wanted to know your thoughts about whether you think the show is 100% authentic or not. And by the way, although I think L.C. is prettier, she has NO personality and Kristen makes the show what it is.
I love Laguna Beach also… it’s such a guilty pleasure though. I do have my doubts about whether or not the show is real though. My roommate thinks that everything on the show did happen, but everything was reenacted. She says this is a give away because the camera angles are really smooth, alleging that the positions the characters are in are staged, as well as the scenes. This is compared to the camera work on the Real World where the cameras follow every move and seems more home-video like. Anyway, whether or not the show is real, I do watch it every week because it’s exciting to see who’s doing what and who’s saying what about who. It’s such a soap opera drama fest… who wouldn’t love it!
I've heard that too; that it's fake. But my roommates and I were talking about it last week during the show and if it were fake, they'd be the best actors I've ever seen. You can't tell anything was scripted. But either way I still really like the show and make the guys at work put it on on Monday nights. LC's a little pathetic, I think. Stephen does lead her on though, like when he brought her flowers the day after Valentine's Day. (When he'd gone to dinner with Kristen the night before). Oh well, I'm looking forward to seeing what happens with the whole Jason, Jessica, Alex deal this week!
See I am a really big fan of LC. I don't like Kristen at all, because I just think she tries to hard to "not act like the girl" in her relationships. Although I do predict that Steven and Kristen end up together in the end. I kind of think that the whole thing is real. I can't wait to see what happens tomorrow night when they go to Cabo together. I really am getting annoyed now with the whole Jessica and Jason thing. He is such a player, but at the same time Jessica is the biggest moron for following him around. Whatever I guess it wouldn't be a show without all of the drama! Does anyone know what happened to Talan or did Kristen and Taylor just completely blow him off? I'm excited about this blog because sometimes I miss the show on Monday nights. I work just about every other Monday night so I have to catch myself up during the week when they are playing re-runs. Once you start watching Laguna Beach you get hooked. I must admit that I am a LC fan although this season from Kristen's view has me quite excited. There is never a dull moment in Laguna and plenty of things for us common folk to watch and be amazed by. It's unbelievable how they live; I mean it's kind of crazy right? Between shoes that cost $500 to mansions and all the luxury goods in between, these teens definitely live the silver life and I love watching them every week. I can't wait to see who ends up with whom and what drama continues while new drama is always arising. I guess we will see what the season has in store!
I love Laguna. I like both Kristen and L.C. but I think L.C. is so much nicer than Kristen. However, they both have such different personalities so I can not really pick which one I like better. You have L.C. who is sweet, while Kristen who is the bitch. In addition, I love Stephen and think he should be with L.C. and not Kristen but he seems to be in love with Kristen. Also, I think Jason is so hot but I do believe that he is the ultimate player and he sure can be. The girls will be falling at his feet this season. Lastly, I can not wait to see what this second season has to bring with all the new characters. I am so excited and I feel as thought a lot of drama will start up.
I love Laguna Beach and I was so glad to see that someone started a blog. I have to confess that my roomates and I all have a secret obession and constantly fight over the reality aspect of the show, and which girls are better than others. I am a true LC fan, I always liked her better than Kristen and wanted Stephen and her to be together. Jason is iffy at this point. He seems like such a jerk to Jessica. I didn't think that I would like this season as much as last because I was so attached to the old characters but so far I have liked it better...much more drama with Kristen as the main character. I love Taylor - I think he is such a nice guy - and so cute! Can't wait to get a weekly update and talk about the show!
